This tiny little girl, Stella June, was such a star. During the first part of the shoot she had the wiggles but settled down after her tummy was full. She was awake for most of the shoot, I have not had an awake newborn on shoot in such a long time! Oh, and her eyes are so bright, it seems all too fitting with her name. Such a gem to photograph!

Beckie, Bright and Early Morning Session :: az maternity and newborn photographer
Thursday, July 29, 2010
This maternity session was done at sunrise in Glendale, AZ. This soon-to-be mom was bubbling in cuteness, I can only imagine the cuteness of her little one. Since her husband is serving our country over sea, she wanted to get a great documentation of this stage in her pregnancy for him. I am so excited to share this session with you all. This brave woman will be delivering her little one while her husband is away and, if I am not at a wedding, I will be documenting this beautiful and delicate event as well. I am so thankful for the people who serve our country and their family members that supports them.
Kellyn + Grant :: Music Inspired Engagement Session :: AZ Wedding Photographer
Monday, July 19, 2010
Complimenting the love they share for each other, Kellyn and Grant share a love of creating music. The couple wanted to incorporate this into their engagement session by having me photograph them creating music together. At moments during the session, the air would fill with music. At other moments, it would fill with the girlish laughter of Kellyn. Grant seemed to be all the more encouraged by this laughter.
For Keeps :: The Find :: Vintage Child Rocking Chair
This item is already sold, awaiting pick up. I still wanted to share it with you all, as it is, my first sale. I also thought it was a great piece to kick off this new section of wildfern. I am combining my love of photography and vintage items and thrifting. In this section of my blog, I will be posting vintage finds that are available to purchase with your photo session. This item will be captured in the springtime with the new sweet owner. Doesn't this chair make the little girl in you want to curl up with a good picture book?
David & Kim :: Williams, AZ Golf Course Wedding
Thursday, July 15, 2010
I have not even begun to edit this wedding. I still have a few weddings ahead of it, but did not want to make this sweet couple wait a moment longer for their sneak peak. Here are a few shots that jumped out at me when I was importing the images to the hard drive.
This wedding was held in at the Elephant Rocks Country Club in Williams, AZ. The weather was warm and the ceremony took place at sunset. The beautiful couple had an intimate ceremony with close family and friends. The reception was held at the Red Raven and I can not wait to share those images too. I just fell in love with Williams, AZ. What a clever location for a wedding out of the Phoenix heat!
I loved the vintage inspiration of Kim's dress. (Kim you are totally glowing in this shot) I knew we were a good photo + client match at our consult when I learned of her classy eye and vintage love.
I love capturing the first moments between a couple directly following the ceremony.
Jessica + Josh = Stella June
Friday, July 9, 2010
Josh - you could of been a child star, if only you could of overcome the nausea of it all. I can not wait to find out if Stella June will have your mad skills, minus the indigestion. Jessica - You are radiant, glowing in every image. Beautiful and comfortable in your own skin. Just lovely!
