Introducing Robert :: AZ Birth Photography and Video
Tuesday, September 14, 2010
Last month I had the honor of documenting a hospital birth, at which I incorporated a combination of stills and film. This birth story is incredible. The mother, Beckie, shared the experience with the her family at her side. Her husband is currently serving our country overseas and was unable to be at her side. I was very moved by her strength. I felt the weight of great thankfulness for families who make such sacrifice for our freedom. Beckie labored through the night and into the following afternoon with some unexpected complications. She caught fever, and eventually both her and the baby had elevated heart rates. The family and staff changed gears and begun to prep Beckie for surgery. Beckie delivered cesarean with her mother by her side and her family waiting on bated breath. Baby Robert entered the world with a full head of hair, gentle handsome features, and a large family that was all together smitten with him. (Please excuse the noise in the video, some of the picture and video files are too big and rich in detail to transfer into an on-line upload. I am still trying to figure out how to get my films to play on the internet like they do on DVD)
Rachel & Brandon :: AZ Wedding Photographer
Monday, September 13, 2010
These two decided to tie the knot at Val Vista Lakes in Gilbert, AZ. From the moment I arrived at this wedding, I could sense the celebration and energy in everyone around me. The entire wedding party was fun to work with and Rachel looked just stunning! I know the bride is the spotlight for the greater part of this sneak peak....more to come on Brandon and his man-heard...
Tarrah + Luke + Patrick + One More On The Way :: AZ Maternity Photographer
Saturday, September 11, 2010
Tarrah wanted to do something different for her maternity session with baby number two. The first time I photographed this lovely duo we shot in Historic Glendale. This time, we went to Downtown Phoenix and played around in the really neat retro antique store, Cheap Thrills. This family was so cute, discovering different things in the store. I can not wait to photograph their baby number two!

I am having such a blast with these event photos. The hardest part is picking what one to use for the sneak peak. I feel that is the hardest part for me often times. Here is an example of all the tough cuteness decisions I have to make::
Okay, so, for example, this one is one of my favorites of this little guys:
But I want mom to rest assured that I got several great shots of that sweet mug, so I'll pick the one below in the sneak peak::

CRAIG AND JENNIE :: Arizona Maternity Photographer
Saturday, September 4, 2010
These two were so, so much fun to photograph. I can not wait to meet their little one! Such a super neat, laid back duo! I just uploaded their shoot and wanted to give them a shot to chew on. I am so impressed with that bubble Craig! Jennie you are so cute, I am going to burst! (I told her to write whatever she wanted on the chalkboard, isn't she a clever girl?)
Adrienne + Richard :: Arizona Wedding Photography
Wow. I just finished up my last five weddings in a row and I am so excited to share Adrienne & Richard's beautiful hometown wedding. Adrienne and Richard got married in Miami, Arizona at a charming church at the top of a hill. They followed it with a white tent reception on a ranch nestled between the mountains. There was such a warmth in the faces of all the guests. Adrienne and Richard are such a lovely couple. A storm was brewing above the tent and let loose on the drive home. The sky was incredible, the whole night.
The New School Photo Sneak Peak :: AZ Children Photographer

Day One of The New School Photo Event went very well. It was filled with sweet smiles, goofy faces, giggles that would make anyone melt, dinosaur roars, princess twinkling toes, and a series of rather impressive double cartwheels. Here is a small sneak peak to all those proud mom and pops:
